Y4 Sleepover

            Science - Lava Lamps

"Today we put 3 liquids in a glass.  I was surprised that the oil floated on top of the water.  When we put the red food colouring in to the glass.  The food colouring stayed in the drops and floated to the top.  Then we put an Aspro-Clear into the glass and it made bubbles go up to the top.  Some of the food colouring drops went up and down too.  It looked like a volcano!  I think the Aspro-Clear dissolved and made a gas that pushed the liquids around.  It was spectacular!"  Reporter:  Kaylea
